Hiking at Starved Rock

Continuing with my training. Finally had a decent Sunday and where the weather was about zero. Hiked with a my good friend, Laura at Starved Rock. Was ablt to get in three hours. A bit icy, but a lot fun. What a great day for hiking and checking out the eagles. If you are ever in Northern Illinois, visit Starved Rock. It's breathtaking. Then what a wonderful surprise to run into two good friends, Laurie and her husband. Shared a glass of wine with them. Hello All, okay I bet your waiting for me to tell you how fabulous my training went this past week. Well, let me say this, the high tempurature was -2 and the wind chill was -45, need I say more, so much for this weeks training. Monday is the day I will continue.
